Madalina, the coding champ at PowerFactors, showcases her learning journey in full-stack development. Akshata, our Cloud Operations star, spills the beans on over a decade of tech adventures in various industries. Laura, a frontend developer at Definitive Healthcare, talks about her game-changing switch from biology to IT. And Mamta, the coding architect at Plejd, shares her transition from designing buildings to crafting cool code!

Madalina-Andreea Pascariu
Software Developer at Greenbyte by PowerFactors

Madalina, Software Developer originally from Romania, discovered her passion for programming while studying Computer Science in Copenhagen. She made a bold move to Sweden, completing an intensive programming bootcamp at SALT School of Applied Technology. Securing a consultant role and thriving as a full-stack developer at PowerFactors, she successfully graduated with a bachelor's degree from KEA Copenhagen School of Design and Technology, balancing academics with industry experience. Madalina has been volunteering with Pink Programming for two years. Outside coding, she enjoys baking, roller skating, and bouldering.

AWS Specialist- Cloud Operations at Greenbyte by PowerFactors

Akshata has over a decade of experience in various roles in IT, from developer to project lead and the latest being a AWS Specialist-Cloud Operations. She has worked in different industries such as finance, healthcare and insurance, and with different tech stacks, proving her strengths as a quick learner and her ability to adapt to different domains. Learning new things is exciting for her, and taking up new challenges is something that motivates her!

Laura Reale
Frontend Developer at Definitive Healthcare

Laura, a Frontend Developer at Definitive Healthcare, embarked on a career shift in Sweden. Initially immersed in molecular biology as a lab technician, she found the work protocol-driven and sought a new challenge for growth and development. In 2018, she enrolled in a coding bootcamp to transition to IT. Shortly after graduating in 2019, Laura kickstarted her IT career and, four years in, fully embraces the dynamic challenges and opportunities the field offers. Eager to share her experiences, she reflects on the significant career change, the journey from biology to tech, and the steps taken to secure her first job in this exciting industry.

Full Stack Developer at Plejd

Mamta is a full-stack software developer at Plejd. Three years ago, she seamlessly transitioned from being an architect designing stadiums and malls globally to crafting the intricate code that powers Plejd's internal systems. An Indian who lived and worked mostly in Kuwait before finding her place in Sweden, her international background adds a delightful twist to her professional profile. A hacker by heart and a traveler at soul, she enjoys exploring the intersection of coding and architecture, along with a side gig in web/graphic design and AI-driven apps.
